Message: If you're looking for a great fishing experience you have come to the right place! I had the opportunity to go deep sea fishing with Capt. Eddie and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Capt Eddie knows where the fish are and his number one goal is to make sure you catch them! He is a hard worker and very friendly. I will definitely be going back and have recommended him to my friends.

Message: Captain Pete Toomer, Captain Eddie's dad, taught me how to fish for grouper in the mid 1960's off Ellis Rocks out near the Marquesas. Fishing was fabulous and filling two large coolers with big red and black grouper the few times a year I was lucky enough to get to the Keys, was exhilarating and as much fun as I ever had on the water.
Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Eddie, who is one of the most knowledgeable ‘Old Salts’ in our part of the world. He has excelled in every kind of fishing he has ever been interested in. He knows fishing better than most.
His fish he brings home from his charters are always top quality because he knows how to handle them from the boat to the throat. He bleeds ‘em and submerges them in slush ice within a few minutes after they are on board to maintain perfect quality. If you charter him and his meticulously maintained vessel and follow his instructions, you will take home fish as good as they can be.
On top of being knowledgeable in all aspects of fishing, he is a good man who loves the environment and has fought to protect it all his life.
There are not many men as good as Captain Eddie Toomer so if you get a chance to spend any time at all with him, get your mind into the moment and realize where you area and what you are doing and most of all listen and learn at the foot of a master fisherman.

Message: Captain Eddie has been a great help to our research on the biology of groupers of the southeastern US. He has openly shared his extensive knowledge of reef fish and fishing as both a commercial and recreational fisherman. He has a sound conservation ethic and is sincerely interested in keeping our fisheries healthy and productive. I am happy to recommend Captain Eddie and his charter business to anyone who would like to have a wonderful time fishing and at the same time adhere to sound conservation practices.

Message: Capt. Eddie comes from a fishing family and is one of the most knowledgeable fishermen in the Gulf of Mexico. I have been fishing, and diving, with Eddie numerous times. There is no one else I would feel safer wtih going offshore than Eddie. He knows boats and how to catch fish. If he can't catch it, then
it is not there!

Message: I never liked fishing but after going out with Captain Eddie
and catching BIG fish I am hooked. He very much wants
his guests to have a good fishing experience and spends much
time making sure that they do. I would certainly recommend
Captain Eddie and will be going again myself.
